Pizza Driver Shot In Henderson, Shooter Sought

Police in Henderson are looking for a gunman who wounded a pizza delivery driver during a robbery attempt Sunday morning. City spokesman Keith Paul said Monday the 42-year-old driver was wounded in the ankle when he refused to turn over cash and property. The gunman accosted him about 10:40 a.m. at a strip mall at Seven Hills Drive and St. Rose Parkway.

Paul says the shooter fled before police arrived. He was described as thin and wearing dark clothing. Paul says the driver was treated at University Medical Center in Las Vegas for a wound that may have been caused by a bullet that ricocheted off the pavement as the gunman fired several shots.
