This weekend, Oct. 24-26, the second incarnation of the Life Is Beautiful Festival takes place in downtown Las Vegas.
There will be music acts, new public art, real grass lawns covering asphalt and finger food from fine restaurants. Billed as a "lifestyle event," the eclectic mix of performers, artists and musicians is a part of the festival's mission, which is to bring those who can inspire to those who need inspiring.
But the festival appears to be tightening its belt in year two. Most businesses on Fremont East will be outside the festival grounds, though Downtown Project’s Container Park will be inside the grounds.
We talk with Life Is Beautiful founder Rehan Choudry about what's on for this year's event.
