Las Vegas 51s Take First Game Of Playoff Series

The Las Vegas 51s beat the Reno Aces 5-4 Wednesday in the first game of a AAA baseball playoff series. The Pacific Coast League Southern Division champs are taking on the Aces in a best-of-five games series, with the first two at Cashman Field. The second game is Thursday night.

Each team beat the other eight times during the regular season. Reno finished as the PCL Northern Division champions. The winner of this series goes on to play in the PCL Championship Series.
