Nevada is one of three states where a new television ad is running to put political pressure on key Republican senators over a bill to which would ban convicted stalkers from possessing guns.
The ad is funded by the advocacy group Everytown for Gun Safety, and it depicts an armed man breaking into his ex-spouse’s home. The ad is running today, the day before a Washington hearing on the stalker bill, which was proposed by Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar. In Nevada, the ad urges viewers to contact Senator Dean Heller and ask him to support the bill.
