BLM Officials on Edge

The Bureau of Land Management in Utah remains on high alert after one of its workers received a death threat.

BLM officials report that an agency worker was approached by two unidentified suspects Tuesday morning on Interstate 15. According to the report the suspects, two men, drove up beside the BLM worker, held up a sign that read - You must die – then one of the men brandished a hand gun. The men sped off. They were driving a dark blue Dodge truck with the license plate covered over.

The BLM is investigating. The incident comes in light of the tensions between the BLM and rancher Cliven Bundy.
