Solving The Poverty Problem

Poverty seems to be an endemic problem. Every society has apparently had impoverished people, but we set about eradicating that problem in the Great Society. But it remains a serious issue. Why? Are we following the wrong policies? Are we unwilling to change? Or is poverty simply inevitable. We talk with a panel of experts who say that we need stronger help for the poor as well as those who say that those programs have already proven complete failures. Where do you stand on helping the poor?
