Overcrowding and Year-Round Schools

Officials at the Clark County School District have placed 39 schools on a list for possible conversion to the year-round schedule. Elementary schools across the valley are grappling with record enrollment, and many have already added portable classrooms and, in some cases, cafeterias. So how will the increase in year-round schools alleviate the pressure? And is it the best solution for school crowding?
