Endangered Species In The High Sierra

Toads and frogs don't seem like the sort of animals that would be endangered, but even in remote places like the High Sierra, human activity is threatening two speciesthat have survived millennia in the icy climes of Northern California and Northern Nevada. Now, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service seems likely to declare them endangered and protect 2 million acres of their habitat from human activity.
