Many new faces will be in Carson City Monday for the first day of the 2013 session. And it's a more complicated session than anyone would have thought six weeks ago. Assemblyman Steven Brookshas drawn his own special committee to investigate his fitness to sit in the legislature. On top of that, the Supreme Court has unexpectedly approved a tax petition organized by the Nevada State Education Association. The tax would raise $800 million from larger businesses. The legislature has 40 days to pass the law or it will be on the 2014 ballot. And, of course, the legislators have to pass a budget for the next two years.
