New Gun Safety Measures at the College of Southern Nevada

In an attempt to improve public safety, the College of Southern Nevada is requiring all staff and faculty to take an online class on gun safety. The course is through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Website, and participants must be certified that they understand the content. So is knowing what to do when an active shooter is in the building likely to save lives Or do colleges need stronger measures to ensure public safety?
