Have you ever noticed how much popular music recycles itself? Music critic and author Simon Reynolds says that the digital archiving of old music has swamped creativity in new music. He says in his new book, Retromania: Pop Culture's Addiction to Its Own Past, that digital archiving is overwhelming any new creativity.
