The Future of Desert Express

Developers of the Desert Express high speed train between Las Vegas and Victorville, California are fighting to get the project built despite numerous roadblocks. The developers have had a tough time convincing Las Vegans that Victorville is a good place to connect with Southern California. In the meantime, California rail officials recently resurrected plan that could leave out a stop in Palmdale as part of that state's rail plan. That stop was seen as a logical place to connect Desert Express to Los Angeles by way of a connector from Victorville to Palmdale. So is the Desert Express actually going to be built? Vegas Inc and Las Vegas Sun Reporter, Rick Velotta joins us to talk about the future of Desert Express.
