The Alleged Beating of Mitchell Crooks

On Friday the Las Vegas Review-Journal posted live footage of a police beating. The video comes from a March 20 altercation between videographer Mitchell Crooks, and Metro Police officer Derek Colling.

Colling's police report claims Mitchell Crooks resisted arrest. But Crooks and his attorney say he was filming police from his own property and was well within his rights. The Clark County District Attorney has dropped all charges against Crooks.

We talk with David Otto, Crooks' attorney, about the incident, the video and the complaint against the Las Vegas Metro Police Department.
