Norm Schilling offers some suggestions as you plan for fall planting in todays Desert Bloom.

Coral Fountain, Rusella Equisitifornis (red trumpet shaped flowers)

Rucillia,Rucillia Brittoniana (purple flower, also comes in pink and white)

Ajuga Reptans, Carpet Bugle (small plant for shade, no flowers in this picture)
