Holiday Work in Washington

The relationship between Senate Minority Leader harry Reid of Nevada and Majority Leader Bill Frist eroded further Sunday night. Scraps over how too combat terrorism, drilling for oil in Alaska and spending issues have stymied Congress for months.

House and Senate members met throughout the weekend...trying to break the gridlock. It's rare that Congress meets this close to Christmas. Couple that with marathon, weekend sessions...and you have a clique of 535 frustrated, sleep-deprived lawmakers who just want to get out of town and spend time with their families. Chad Pergram reports from Washington.
