The Sierra Club has been asking the state and federal government to consider the health effects of widening U.S. 95 since the mid 90’s. This week, after years in federal court, a congressional order to negotiate, and delays costing tens of millions of dollars, the state and federal highway administration agreed to study those health effects and mitigate some. KNPR’s Ky Plaskon reports.
