Vice President Kamala Harris admires the crowd during a campaign rally, Tuesday, July 30, 2024, in Atlanta.

Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to visit Las Vegas this weekend on the heels of a major economics speech. This comes about a week after former President Donald Trump visited Las Vegas, rallying in front of around 6,000 people and talking mostly about immigration.

More visits by the two are expected in the next month or so, but early voting starts in less than three weeks.

Laying the groundwork for Harris’ rally, former Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak is a campaign surrogate for the vice president. He talked with Producer Paul Boger.

Guest: Steve Sisolak, former governor, Nevada
