In just the last two weeks, the Las Vegas Aces won their second consecutive WNBA Championship; UNLV's football team won its sixth game and is going to a bowl game. And the Vegas Golden Knights are the first team to win six in a row to start the year after winning a Stanley Cup.

Then we have the Formula 1 race coming next month. In a little more than three months, the Super Bowl will be in Vegas.

Meanwhile, we’re all still suffering from gas prices, and everything else seems high. And what ever happened to that gas tax vacation Gov. Joe Lombardo wanted?

Then there's our crowded classrooms, fatalities on our roads, the homeless and mental illness rates, and the presidential election cycle coming up, so we’ll start seeing more hatred in our mailboxes, TV and online.
