If anyone thinks our weather hasn’t changed, if anyone thinks climate change isn’t an issue, just think about the hurricane last week. The heat bubble in July. The atmospheric river over the winter.

The debate is over about climate change. The question is, is anyone really doing anything about it? Does that keep you awake at night?

Or is it the fact that one of the potential presidential candidates could be jailed. And that some constitutional scholars say that should disqualify Donald Trump from running for president again.

Then, the NFL’s regular season starts in two weeks. Baseball is heading toward the end of the regular season — does anyone care, even though state lawmaker have made a deal with give the Oakland Athletics $380 million in taxpayer support?
