Is High Tech The Future Of Las Vegas?

After the recession, Nevada said it needed to be more than a company town that relies on jobs and taxes from gaming and tourists to pay for police, fire, roads, schools, and other public needs. 

 

So high tech, tech growth and tech companies became buzzwords that politicians and business leaders would talk often about. 

 

Some tech companies have moved into the state. There are big warehouses for Amazon, Switch has several centers, and Tesla has a battery factory. 

 

What about tech companies with the potential to alter the state’s economic landscape?
