But that hasn’t stopped the growth of desert farming and the farm-to-table movement in the state.
In fact, a farm-to-table fundraising dinner is in the works at the University of Nevada Reno, and local farmers are pitching in.
Today, we talk with farmer Rob Holley and Desert Farming Initiative Project Manager Jennifer Ott from UNR about the event and the state of farming culture in Nevada.
