Robert Belliveau is a retired pathologist. For years, he peered at cells through a microscope. Now, he's taking his fascination for the microscopic level and merging it with his artistic interests. Dr. Belliveau photographs everyday items (tomatoes, peppers, blueberries) with his microscope. Up close and personal, his tomato seed looks like an exploding sun, his corn husk like a techinicolor kaleidoscope. We talk to Robert about his art, and how he transforms the simplest items with a twist of his microscope lens.
