The Marriage Amendment in Nevada's Constitution

Lambda Legal, the lawyers pushing for marriage equality, filed a suit Tuesday to void Nevada's Marriage Amendment. The voters gave the amendment final approval 10 years ago and has kept marriage strictly between one man and one woman. Lambda Legal argues that the Marriage Amendment violates the Equal Protection of the U.S. Constitution. If they're right, it would push Nevada towards legalizing same-sex marriage. We discuss the lawsuit with the Lambda lawyer and others on both sides of the issue.
