One of the first community theater groups in the U.S. dates back to 1788 in North Carolina. Since then community theater has evolved and grown through cities and towns across the nation. But, in that time the idea of community theater has also gotten a negative label too. Many times people look at amatuer theater as "not worth the time." We look at Las Vegas community theater and find out what works and doesn't work and what Las Vegans are looking for.
