Biking 545 Miles for AIDS Awareness

In the 1980s, Dove Zugarramurdi had a number of gay friends who died of AIDS.  She remembers being the only friend at their bedside - often, their families refused to visit.  That memory has stayed with Dove.  Thirty years later, she's preparing to bike 545 miles with the AIDS LifeCycle Ride.  The fundraiser will take her along the coast from San Francisco to Los Angeles.  Dove talks about what inspired her to don her bike helmet, her hot pink racing bike, and why more needs to be done for AIDS research and awareness.
