In the 1960s, Tom Hayden rioted at the Democratic Convention in Chicago. He founded Students for a Democratic Society, and later flew to North Vietnam to protest the Vietnam War. It might be an understatement to call Tom Hayden an "activist." So what does the activism icon think of students today? Where are all the walkouts and protests that defined the 1960s and 70s?
