...As we approach the centennial of Clark County, former Senator Richard Bryan tells us about Nevada's youngest governor, Denver Dickerson, who helped put Clark County on the map. Nevada's first chief executive to live in the governor's mansion was also behind the pen that officially created Clark County. Our essays are written by Michael Green, professor at the College of Southern Nevada. Nevada Yesterdays is funded by the Nevada Humanities and dedicated to the memory of Frank Wright.
