'Dr. Who' casts a person of color in the main role for the first time

British sci-fi series “Dr. Who” announced this week that Ncuti Gatwa, a Black man, will portray its protagonist in the next season. It’s a big move for a TV show that’s been broadcasting for nearly sixty years.
