Med Tech Company Bringing 200 Jobs, $40M Facility To Sparks

SPARKS, Nev. (AP) — A California-based medical device company has announced plans to move its U.S. operations from the San Francisco Bay area to a facility in northern Nevada that's expected to bring 200 jobs to the Reno-Sparks area.

Reno-Sparks Housing Prices Hit All-Time High Again

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Rising housing prices have set a record in the Reno-Sparks area for the fourth time this year.

The Reno-Gazette Journal reports the combined median price for an existing single-family home in the cities of Reno and Sparks reached $389,000 in June.

Senate Democratic caucus spokesman Peter Koltak says the Sparks lawmaker died Sunday in Reno. She was 60.
