BLM Increases Fees At Red Rock Canyon

Visits to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area are a little more expensive, starting today.

The Bureau of Land Management has increased fees to the area including the scenic loop road and campgrounds to $15 per car, an increase of $8.

Officials Propose Raising Fees For Red Rock Canyon Park

The Bureau of Land Management is considering raising the entrance fees for the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in Las Vegas.

Currently, the park charges $7 for drivers and $3 for pedestrians, motorcyclists and bicyclists.

A hiker at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area has died after falling about 15 stories.

Las Vegas police Lt. Timothy Hatchett says the hiker had been with a group before the hiker fell about 160 feet from a trail on Thursday.
