    Former LVCVA Chairman Agrees To Fine In Ethics Violation Case

    The former board chairman of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority has agreed to pay a fine for violating state ethics laws.

    Lawrence Weekly will pay nearly $2,400 in fines for using agency airline gift cards for personal use.

    300K Visitors Expected In Las Vegas For Thanksgiving

    LAS VEGAS (AP) — Tourism officials expect 300,000 people to visit Las Vegas for Thanksgiving.

    The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority on Friday said those visitors will spend roughly $226 million between Wednesday and Nov. 24.

    Report: Vegas Drawing More Millennial, First-Time Visitors

    LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas is drawing more millennial and first-time visitors.

    A report from the resort's biggest travel booster released Wednesday shows 34 percent of Las Vegas visitors in 2016 were millennials. That's up from 24 percent in 2015.
