    CARSON CITY (AP) — Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval's veto total is up to four this session while he's signed nearly 500 bills.

    Sandoval opted Tuesday to veto SB296, which capped the amount of punitive damages a plaintiff can seek in a defective product case.

    CARSON CITY (AP) — Gov. Brian Sandoval is continuing his bill-signing blitz, including measures on vaping and industrial hemp farming.

    The Republican governor signed two dozen bills on Thursday. He has 10 days from the end of the legislative session to sign or veto measures.

    The full Senate voted Thursday to approve SB405, which expands the Zoom School program focused on English language learners.

    Bill To Cut Bullying Moves To NV Assembly

    CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — A Nevada Assembly panel has approved a comprehensive anti-bullying measure backed by Gov. Brian Sandoval.

    Lawmakers on the Assembly Ways and Means Committee voted 13-2 to approve SB504 on Tuesday. It now heads to the Assembly floor for approval.
