FARMINGTON, Utah (AP) — Utah transportation officials are testing a driverless shuttle at a Farmington retail hub.
Lyft is set to release a fleet of driverless vehicles in the streets of Las Vegas.
The target start date is July or August, and the test routes will be center around the convention center and various resorts on Las Vegas Boulevard as well as extending into downtown.
The city of Las Vegas is not planning to stop operation of its driverless shuttle downtown, following the death Sunday of a pedestrian who was struck by an Uber self-driving car in Tempe, Arizona.
Driverless cars may seem like a futuristic dream. But some manufacturers are promising that they will be in showrooms by 2020
