A Nevada legislator wants to ban professional therapists from attempting to talk people out of homosexuality, in a practice commonly referred to as conversion therapy.
Proposition 8 was called unconstitutional by the U.S. 9th Circuit Court. Prop 8 is the voter approved ban on gay marriage in California. This doesn't mean there will be any gay marriages allowed for some time. And, supporters of Prop 8 are likely to appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
