How would you describe yourself to voters?

I am a transparent and honest person. I look at things through an equity lens.

What do you see as the top issues in this campaign?

Editor's Note: Candidate did not provide an answer.

In your opinion, how would you rate the state’s response to the pandemic? Why?

I think the state's initial response was the best they could do at the time with the information that they had. I believe that when the resources from the Federal Government came into the state, it allowed the constituents to be able to breathe easier. Yet DETR was not getting people the money that they needed to live, I think the state's response was slow and has not improved. I think learning from the pandemic can help Nevada elected officials make improvements going forward.

Education and local government officials have long asked lawmakers to change the way the state assesses property taxes. That includes raising the current tax threshold. Should lawmakers consider raising those thresholds? If not, what is the best way for governments to raise money for local programs?

I think elected officials should research raising the current tax threshold for education to see if it is doable. I don't believe we should do anything without the proper research to ensure we are not harming working families. Education has a new funding formula that is not funded properly. There needs to be a way to fund education properly and researching the different ways to achieve optimal funding is something law makers need to do.
