School Choice, Safer communities, Government Transparency, Property Rights

In your opinion, how would you rate the state’s response to the pandemic? Why?

Poor. Studies have been coming out showing that states that had strict shut downs did not show a lower transmission rate than states that were open. We should have focused on protecting those who are immune compromised and the elderly rather than shutting down the entire state.

Education and local government officials have long asked lawmakers to change the way the state assesses property taxes. That includes raising the current tax threshold. Should lawmakers consider raising those thresholds? If not, what is the best way for governments to raise money for local programs?

We need to look at how Government spends tax payer money and focus on ways that we can cut back on wasteful spending rather than raising taxes on hard working Nevadans.
