What are the three greatest challenges facing Nevada, and how would you address them inWashington?
1) Water or lack there of We live on a planet made of water, we could work with coastal states to build Desalination plants and pump the fresh water into the Colorado River. 2) Healthcare We’re the only 1st world nation that doesn’t have a universal healthcare program, that needs to change. People shouldn’t have to decide on the which meds they should take cause they can’t afford it. 3) Universal Basic Income UBI would be a great way to get people off welfare and on a better track in life, it would also be a way to help those that have fallen on hard times. And would be a great way to make sure our citizens aren’t always so stressed out by not being able to afford basic things like tires for their car.
Inflation has reached its highest levels in more than 40 years. What should Congress do to address the rising costs of living?
Three answers for this, 1) this isn’t just an American problem it’s a global problem so we shouldn’t simply try to solve this ourselves. 2) higher wages would combat the higher living costs and higher prices for basic things like food. 3) bring back jobs to this country, we’ve outsourced so much that we don’t even make our own medications here anymore. By bringing jobs back home it will strengthen our economy and help stem the tide of inflation.
Would you vote to support/oppose a federal law that guarantees women across the country the right to an abortion?
Yes, but up to a certain point, and I’ll explain. The moral dilemma aside, it’s a matter of the mother, if she wants to get it done she’s going to do it wether it’s illegal or not, and by doing back ally abortions she has a much higher risk of dying herself or causing serious harm. By taking something away you make people feel empowered to do it even more, and on something like this we can’t have that.
