poor it could have been handeled like Texas or Florida--back management.

Education and local government officials have long asked lawmakers to change the way the state assesses property taxes. That includes raising the current tax threshold. Should lawmakers consider raising those thresholds? If not, what is the best way for governments to raise money for local programs?

Think of Prop 13 in CA. which caped the tax rate, think of growing the economy and taxing that growth, think of increasing the tax on natural resourced and working with mining to be more successful to share in their increased revenue--think of using the state credit to make a leader in solar and geothermal plus the raw material found in our state for the electronic revolution of clean energy--government only thinks about revenue and not the joint participation with its residence. With the increase in property values the tax revenue will go up anyway. I rising sea raises all ships--grow the economy and the review to the state will increase as it improves the quality of lives of the residence.
