An interview with Nevada Rep. Mark Amodei, up for 7th term

Mark Amodei is one of the highest-profile Republicans in Nevada, and he's up for a seventh term trying to keep his seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

But his opponent in June's primary has a last name that's almost as familiar with Nevadans: Tarkanian.

Danny Tarkanian is a Douglas County commissioner. And of course his father is the late and celebrated UNLV basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian.

There's no mention of the leaked Supreme Court decision on Roe v. Wade in this interview, as producer Paul Boger talked to Amodei the day before news of that decision was released. Amodei, however, has previously said that he is pro-life when voting on abortion issues.
