SNHD Offers At-Home Test Kits For Sexually Transmitted Diseases

The Southern Nevada Health District has started providing at-home test kits for HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.

The program, Collect2Protect, allows users to order an at-home HIV test kit for free. The kit allows users to get their results at home.

Test kits for chlamydia and gonorrhea are also available for a fee, SNHD said. They said there are about 10,00 people in Clark County living with HIV, with 448 of them diagnosed since 2019.

How is Las Vegas' healthcare system really doing, and what does it mean for you and your family? Desert Companion's Health Issue takes a deep dive into these questions and explores how heart-centered business leaders prove that doing good benefits the bottom line.
