Pres. Trump Threatens Nevada Election Funding Over Mail-In Ballots

President Donald Trump has threatened to cut federal funds to Nevada if the state goes through with plans to hold its June 9 primary by mail – a decision that was made to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

President Trump tweeted Wednesday morning that "State of Nevada 'thinks' that they can send out illegal vote by mail ballots, creating a great Voter Fraud scenario for the State and the U.S. They can’t! If they do, 'I think' I can hold up funds to the State."

Trump has also threatened to cut funding to Michigan over mail-in ballots.
