Governor Steve Sisolak, California Governor Gavin Newsom and senators from both states attended the 23rd Tahoe Summit on Monday.
Advocates for protecting the region’s environment have been gathering every year since 1997 to talk about ways to protect and preserve the Lake Tahoe area.
Topics of discussion this year include fire safety and wildfires in the Tahoe Basin – as well as climate change.
