The City of Henderson says it will contribute $500,000 to fund the construction of a new health care education building.
The Henderson City Council unanimously approved the pledge Tuesday.
The money will go to the CSN Foundation for a new Health and Science Building, planned to be built on the College of Southern Nevada’s Henderson campus.
The building will be operated in conjunction with Nevada State College and will allow CSN to nearly double nursing program enrollment and graduates.
