Nevada Governor-elect Steve Sisolak has announced his cabinet picks for the Departments of Motor Vehicles and Taxation.
Julie Butler from the Department of Public Safety will replace Terri Albertson as head of the DMV.
Melanie Young is getting a promotion from within the Taxation department to take over leadership from Bill Anderson.
Both appointees are veteran state administrators -- Butler has spent 24 years in state service, while Young has served for 20 years.
