RENO, Nev. (AP) — Official sample ballots for the June primary election should start showing up in Washoe County mailboxes next week.
The county's registrar of voters is urging registered voters to be on the lookout for the ballots beginning Monday.
The primary election is set for Tuesday, June 12.
Washoe County Registrar of Voters Deanna Spikula said Friday the sample ballots are an important resource for voters.
They include a copy of the actual ballots voters will see at the polls. They also identify the hours and locations of polling places, along with a list of the candidates and offices up for election. They're printed in both English and Spanish.
Anyone with questions can dial 311 in Washoe County or call the Registrar of Voters Office at 775-328-3670.
