Executive Director Of Reno Charity Removed Amid Sexual Harassment, Financial Misconduct Allegations

The chief executive of a prominent charity organization in Reno has been removed amid allegations of sexual harassment and financial misconduct.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reports Marty Ozer was the executive director of Ronald McDonald House Charities and was accused of sexually harassing female staffers.

According to investigative documents, Ozer also misused the charity’s credit card and downloaded pornography on his work computer. Ronald McDonald is a nonprofit that provides housing for out of town families with children staying at hospitals in the Reno area.

Ozer has been the executive director for the past 10 years.

Ozer told the RGJ he’s considering taking legal action against the nonprofit and maintained he did nothing wrong. The board of trustees opened an investigation into Ozer earlier this year and removed him this week without any kind of separation agreement.
