Utah Ranks Last In Gender Equality Study
Utah has been ranked dead last in the nation when it comes to gender equality, according to a new report from analyst firm WalletHub.
When looking at benchmarks for women’s equality that include political involvement, education attainment, occupational segregation and pay inequity, the Beehive State did not fare well.
The study also evaluated things like workplace environment, education, health and political empowerment.
Utah’s wage gap between men and women is also the largest in the country, with women earning 70 cents to every $1 earned by male counterparts.
