Reno City Attorney Rejects Request For Strip Club Investigation Report

The Reno City Council is considering new laws that would kick strip clubs and other adult entertainment stores out of its downtown.

Part of that included an undercover investigation into the strip clubs to hunt for illicit behavior. The details of that investigation, however, are being kept under wraps.

The Reno Gazette-Journal reports Reno City Attorney Karl Hall has rejected the paper’s request under the public records law for a copy of the report.

Results of that investigation were shared with city council members before they went on to decide on ordinance changes that would force the businesses out of their downtown into industrial neighborhoods.
