Vice President Mike Pence will be the keynote speaker at Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt’s annual Basque Fry event in August.
Laxalt is widely expected to run for Nevada governor in 2018, and the vice president’s appearance at the event could be a helpful one.
Laxalt hosts the Basque Fry in Gardnerville just south of Carson City to support his political action committee. Headliners at previous Basque Fry events have included Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, and Ben Carson.
