Las Vegas Named One Of The Most Livable Cities

Las Vegas has been named one of the most livable cities in America during the U.S. Conference of Mayors this weekend.

The winning cities were selected by former mayors from a pool of over 150 applicants.

The city of Las Vegas was honored for the Mayor’s Faith Initiative, which Mayor Carolyn Goodman started in 2012. The Mayor’s Faith Initiative tries to connect those in the faith community to actions within the greater community at large to tackle issues like addiction, education, homelessness and human trafficking. This is the 38 th year cities have competed for the award.
